Dear Friends,
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Annual EEG /Epilepsy Symposium in conjunction with the University of Texas Stroke educational symposium and the Multiple sclerosis update symposium  scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt on January 19-21, 2011. This symposium follows the success of the previous symposia. The first day of the meeting will focus on the role of the EEG in diagnosing epilepsy syndromes with case presentations. Later a session will be dedicated to seizure semiology with special emphasis on diagnosing neonatal seizures.
The second day will be on stroke. The university of Texas stroke team led by Prof James Grotta will be lecturing on the challenges in acute stroke management. The third day led by Prof Jurg Kesselring will address the latest therapeutic challenges in Multiple sclerosis. We hope you will join us in Cairo so that we can personally welcome you :Ählan Wasahlan
Cairo is the capital of Egypt with a total population over 16 million people, one of the largest cities in both Africa and the Middle East. Situated on the River Nile, Cairo is famous for its own history, preserved in the fabulous medieval Islamic city and Coptic sites in Old Cairo. The Egyptian Museum in the center of town is a must see, with its countless Ancient Egyptian artifacts. No trip to Cairo would be complete, for example, without a visit to the Giza Pyramids, and to the nearby Saqqara Pyramid Complex, where visitors will see Egypt's first step pyramid built by the architect Imhotep for the third dynasty pharaoh Djoser
